Rainton Gate Luxury Cats' Hotel is a fully licensed, rated 5 star by the Local Authority and listed by the Feline Advisory Bureau. It is the place where luxury accommodation and feline care go hand in hand.  

The cattery was built and is operated in accordance with the Feline Advisory Bureau specifications. This ensures that each cat enjoys a spacious, full height, heated and fully insulated cat chalet.

Each chalet has an attached undercover outdoor run, complete with sun shelves. scratchpoles and toys. All chalets overlook enclosed gardens. It is an idyllic and restful place for your cats to spend their holidays.

We care exclusively for cats. There are no co-located kennels.

Each cat is fed in the morning with meat and biscuits. We cater for the most discerning of tastes. (However, any cat that requires a special or veterinary diet, could you please let us know at the time of booking.) A further meal will also be served each evening. We will discuss your feeding preferences on arrival. 

For customers with more than one cat, it is possible to keep cats together if required. We reserve the right to house your cats separately if we believe it necessary.

All cats must be fully vaccinated against Cat Flu and Feline Enteritis and must have received a booster within the last twelve months. The vaccination certificate must be produced at the time of arrival. Please note that for the well-being of your pet, this is strictly adhered to. Due to the design of our cattery, the risk of cross infection is almost eliminated.

We can only board cats who have been neutered, unless they are still kittens.  

We are able to administer most medications and will discuss this fully when you arrive.  However, we are not able to administer insulin injections.
